What WILL you gain?

What will you gain by sitting at a computer flipping through blogs, seeing if someone else in the world is interesting, when in truth, most of the time it's one of those "you had to be there" things. I have decided that i'm not gonna gain a whole lot by sitting here tonight, so i'm going to take the few precious alone moments i have for the next few weeks and go to the beach and write music. What will you gain by sitting here? What will you gain by turning the computer off and unplugging?
