What a beach
I had some doubts about leaving the beach. I've been pretty down lately because I've been living in the dead of winter, and that's been hard to get used to. Today, however, there was still snow on the ground, but it was warm enough to go for a walk.
you can't tell from this picture, but it is freezing at this point and my ears were so cold they started to ring.
Stopped at cherry creek bridge or "Abby's Bridge"
This is the path headed toward the mountain. It was beautiful.
The sun started to set so I turned around.
This is cherry creek. Normally a chill little creek.
Slipped and fell on my elbow, and held my camera aloft like the statue of liberty. I didn't get one speck on it. but my phone and my dad's knife on the other hand....
I ran home to get this shot of the sunset from my parents window. Came in, was still holding camera aloft, still holding muddy phone and knife, but managed to snap a few shots of the sunset.
I'm not really that fat. But you can see how I biffed it.
All in all, while I am sad about not having the beach anymore, I do have the mountains, and i do have all the running and bike paths that Colorado has to offer. I do love it here, and I am getting better and better at appreciating everything I see.
Also, I didn't edit or enhance any of these photos yet because I wanted to post this while it was still fresh in my mind.
