I edited this
I edited this photo all by my lonesome from Vadim's collection of shots we did together. I hope I make him proud. I edited it in Lightroom, and I even exported it! Someday I will really learn how to do this, but I think I've got the jist of it. What do you think? When all of them or the ones I'm happy with get finished either by him or by me, I will be posting a link to my mobile me. Every once in a while, I might pop one up here to show you my editing skillz. This is the first picture I've ever successfully done in lightroom. I don't understand a lot of the light/dark relationships yet, and I'm sure that when I go back to school to learn more about photography and see this photo I did way back when, I'll laugh, but for now, it's decent.
In other news, I'm still waiting for a particular job to call me back and let me know how my backround check went. I'm a little nervous about this, because I feel like I'm wasting time not looking for work. I cannot look for a second job until they call me back and let me know my schedule.
Tori's new album comes out tomorrow, and I'm excited to get the deluxe edition. Apparently there is a lithograph I can get if I get my fat butt down to the store early enough. I haven't been thrilled with her album so far. I've only listened to three songs, but I haven't cheated and listened to the rest of her album online (I'm a purist. The first listen always happens in my car.) However, from the album art I have seen, I'm very excited to get the deluxe version and the LP (as usual). I'm asking for a record player for my birthday (one that converts LP's into MP3's) so I can hear all of my records, but even if that doesn't happen, I'm thankful for the art I've got. Not to mention, for this record, she's ditched the wigs and become the dyed redhead we all know and love. That makes me happy. (I love her nails, don't you?) She looks great for a woman of 46 years old.
