The End.

I have had this blog since June of 2005. I have posted 296 times on a plethora of different subjects. It’s time now for all of this to come to an end.

I can’t keep up with this anymore, I post mostly on facebook and livejournal, and I don’t have time or the inspiration to post funny things that aren't so personal. I never intended for this to be a personal blog, I wanted it to be a general funny blog, but I can't come up with anything. I did want to make this a photo blog, but it’s just not the nature of the mrsjesus.

I also don’t like the html options on blogspot, so it makes it difficult for me to make the blog LOOK like I want. It’s just all very frustrating.

I’m very sad that this has come to an end because I had a lot of fun posting, and meeting new people. This little journal really got me through some fun situations, and I’m grateful to have had it. I will likely not delete Mrsjesus so I can keep the memories that I have made. I am going to try and start a photoblog over on wordpress, but it might take me a couple of days/weeks to set it up. I’ll probably update when I get the website, but don’t expect much more out of this blog.

So I’m closing this baby down. To those that still come here to see if I’ve posted (I know a few of you do, and I’m very thankful) I do have a photo blog that you can visit, I update when I can, and I'd love to see you over there. You can always look me up on facebook. Just ask. I love you all, and I’ll miss posting for you. (Mrs. Jesus, and the turtle)

"Life is a near death experience."

"It goes without saying I'm not the only person who has noticed this, but I never got to spell it out my way before.

Comedy's nature has two sides. Everybody wants a good time and a couple of laughs, and course, the comic wants to be known as a real funny guy. But the language of comedy is fairly grim and violent. It's filled with punchlines, gags, and slapstick. Afterall, what does a comic worry most about? Dying! He doesn't want to die.

"Jeez, I was dyin'. It was like death out there. Like a morgue. I really bombed."

Comics don't want to die, and they don't want to bomb. They want to go over with a bang. And be a real smash. And if everything works out, if they're successful and they make you laugh, they can say, "I killed 'em. I slaughered those people, I knocked them dead."

And what phrases do we use when we talk about the comic? "He's a riot." "A real scream." "A rib-splitting knee slapper." "My sides hurt." "My cheeks ache." "He broke me up, cracked me up, slayed me, fractured me, and had me in stitches." "I busted a gut." "I get a real kick out of that guy."

"Laugh? I thought I'd die.""

We're going to miss you George. You'll never die in my memory. Thanks for everything you've given us.
